Webinar 22. mars 2022

Advances in virus genome sequencing in recent years have allowed scientists to rapidly and quickly track the spread of viruses in populations, most notably the coronavirus responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic. Viruses in aquaculture too constantly mutate, changing a few letters at a time as they divide and spread to new locations. Join us as our expert speakers explain how these changes can be exploited to track the spread of viruses by sequencing and analysing genomes, and what practical benefit this will have for fish farmers going forward.
